Urology Research and Education Foundation (UREF) is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to advancing knowledge about the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of urologic conditions affecting men though education, community service and research. Urology conditions affecting men include prostate cancer, testicular cancer, prostate enlargement, infertility, erectile dysfunction and others. UREF's main focus is men's health and prostate cancer. Across all age groups men have a 64% higher death rate than women and are consistently more vulnerable to developing and dying prematurely from nearly all cancers.

What is My Risk for
Urology Research & Education Foundation was founded in 2001. The current board members are founding members.
Pat Fulgham, M.D., President
Dr. Fulgham is a board certified urologist who has been in private practice at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas since 1987. He is a Texas A&M graduate and received his medical training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Fulgham is active in educating urologists and in 2008 received the Distinguished Service Award from the American Urological Association. Also in 2008 he received the Health Care Hero award from the Dallas Business Journal for his contributions to educating physicians and his work in the community.
Paul is a prostate cancer survivor. He is an SMU graduate, a Viet Nam veteran and is retired from the telecommunications industry.
Jay Dee Allen, Jr.
Jay Dee is a prostate cancer survivor and graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. He is retired from the commercial real estate and the banking industry.
Angela Clark, RHIA, Director
Angela is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University with a degree in Health Information Management.
